Statement from the artist:

Fine Artist, Marie Woods  In my current body of work I am constantly challenging myself to create something which will embody the expression of the character, feeling or qualities of a subject.  An emotion is captured in the creation of my paintings.  My work evolves constantly ,allows opportunity for discovery and creativity, both in exploration of colour and of form.

My paintings are a happy experience which I wish to share with others.  Only in their viewing do they become complete.

Marie’s paintings are currently on exhibit at Island Irish Art Gallery, The Art Room, Linen Green, Moygashel, Dungannon and The Half Door, Ballintoy.
